How to display a message for users at logon

In this article we will learn how to configure Windows server machines for displaying an interactive logon message for domain users. For this demonstration I will be using a Windows Server 2012 machine with Group Policy Management Console installed. Login to your server and open GPMC, create a new GPO and enter the editing mode:

Group Policy Management Console
Navigate to Computer Configuration/Policies/Windows Settings/Local Policies/Security Options and double click the Interactive logon: Message title for users attempting to log on, check the define this policy setting box and enter the desired title:
Interactive logon: Message title for users attempting to log on
Now open the Interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on policy, enable it and enter the message that will be displayed for domain users at logon:

Once you’ve applied the GPO to the Organizational Unit, the servers included in that particular OU will display the newly configured title and message at logon:

That’s it for this short article, wish you all the best and don’t forget to enjoy your day!
